About MBM

Our latest release is "A Promise Made" and is available to order from the catalog page.

In January 1997, Mercy’s Bridge began their music ministry in Cleveland, Tennessee. The call to minister in song to the Cleveland/Chattanooga area inspired the group to make a commitment to God and to make a commitment to each other to share what God had done for them. God sometimes works in mysterious ways to arrange people’s lives to come together and be soul winners for Him. Such are the events that transpired in the first few weeks of January 1997. This trio of young men from differing deominational backgrounds began to talk to God and one other, about the group’s future in Southern Gospel music. Things fell into place quickly. With the help of God and a few others, a four-piece live band was added forming what would be known as Mercy’s Bridge. The name Mercy’s Bridge was chosen because of the bridge that God gave to each of us through the sacrifice of his son, His word and deeds. It may even be in the form of a song and with that thought, the central message of Mercy’s Bridge was born. The rich vocal sounds of this trio are strong and original songs strengthen the unique harmony penned by John Lee and Dwight Richardson. Among artist's that have recorded their music are: Truth, Mission, The McKameys, Eastern Sky, Michael Combs, and The Boanergers Trio. Early on, Mercy’s Bridge received a great demand for a recorded project. Their first recording entitled The Blood Still Flows, introduced Mercy’s Bridge and their ministry. With the success of their first endeavor, a second project Still Travelin’ was recorded. Containing all original music this project has opened many doors and presented many opportunities for Mercy’s Bridge. Whether you like Blue grass, Southern Gospel, or Light Contemporary Gospel Music, you will hear something you like when you attend one of their church services or live concerts. The future looks bright for the group that began from the church parking lot where the idea of Mercy's Bridge was born. Their hard work, innovation, beliefs and a sure-sense of calling are all aspects contributing to the strength of their ministry. Whether you see Mercy’s Bridge in a local church or sharing the stage in concert with such groups as The Hoppers, The Talley Trio, Ivan Parker, The Perrys, The Ruppes, Karen Peck and New River, Poet Voices, The Bishops and/or various local groups, you will find that their message is one of HOPE. Not long ago a local pastor inquired about Mercy’s Bridge, which was booked at his church. He said, “all I want to know is…are you saved”? The group is happy to report that everyone that has anything to do with Mercy’s Bridge is saved and they individually love the Lord. The group wants you to know that He’s still in the business of changing lives, saving hearts, making miracles and keeping his promises. Because of gospel D.J.’s, concert promoters, MBM fans, pastors and local churches, Mercy’s Bridge is honored to tour and proclaim the gospel through song. MBM recently signed with Sweet Swing Music and anticipate a new project release in 2004. Mercy’s Bridge Ministries desires your prayers. We look forward to seeing you in one our services. Thanks......MBM
